Who are we?
We are Dave Krieg, a retired scientist and professor, and Anne Kiehl, a retired engineering draftsperson. We have been full-time RV travelers, living in a motorhome since 1991. We continued that lifestyle, without a "home base" until early 2009. (See index for note "we bought a house.")
Our travels have mostly covered the west, but we have been all over the USA, Canada and most of Mexico. We created this website for our relatives and friends who might wish to see where we have been.
Our original "Homestead" edition of our website covered two trips in 2000. We traveled alone in July-September 2000 in Alaska and NW Canada, leaving our motorhome in storage and traveling in a 4x4 truck with slide-in camper. The other was made, with another couple, to Baja California, Mexico, in Jan-March, 2000. It includes photos of a visit to "world quality" petroglyphs and of our getting very, very close to a whale.
We have continued to add more material almost every year since then.
As you may note, we are experimenting with different formats and technologies for presenting photos. Let us know if you have a preference among those tried in this edition of our web-site.
