Calf Creek Recreation Area is on BLM
land, 11 miles south of Boulder.
It has a small campground suitable for
tenting and small campers.
There is a very pleasant hike along
the creek, leading in 3 miles to the
lovely waterfall and a cool splash pool
that can be refreshing on a hot day.
