The statue of Diego Rivera is in the garden of the Na Balom Musem in San Christobal in Chiapas.  It is a two-sided statue, in which we first see him being taught by his mother to be a good boy.  In the other side we find a fun-poking image of the adult  as a "rake"  and exploited by the ladies.

Sumero Canyon is near Tuxtla; we had a scenic boatride and were awed by mile-hgh cliffs.

Mitla was the first ruin we saw in the state of Oaxaca; it is 27 miles E of Oaxaca.  We show some of its geometric designs.  The church built by the Spanish at the edge of the ruin site is stll in use.
