From “Traveling Man & Gypsy Lady"
We have now been in Southern California for over a month, mostly based with Anne’s sister and friend in Orange County. We’ve had a very nice time and have attended to some things we couldn’t do while traveling. In particular, Anne has been enjoying almost daily visits to a very nice YMCA with a pool and exercise classes. The fires you may have heard about were not close enough to affect us, other than to make for smoky skies for about half a week, and they are now mostly clear and sunny. On our Thanksgiving Day, we reflected on how fortunate we have been with continued good health and many friends.
We will soon head east, to spend most of the winter in Texas. We look forward to seeing an 11-year-old great grandnephew there make his ballet debut in "The Nutcracker."
Our travels this year took us through Utah and the Rocky Mountains, to Canada and Seattle. After about six weeks there we drove down the Pacific Coast. Had a lot of visits with friends and at national parks. Here is a link you can click here for a few pictures and a list of nature sites and visits on our travels.
We haven't added any other chapters to our website recently, but if you want to view our page on "Presbyterian Owls" click this link.
With best regards,
Anne and Dave
